Riley.
Riley watched as her twin walked away, chopping off a straw dummy's head. Almost instantly, her anger washed away- well, for the most part. Perhaps a hint was still there, but her caring side was dominant as she went over to Mary-Kate. With a soft smile, she gave her a hug. "You okay sis?" She asked, with slight worry. "If it's that guy, well, he's a total jerk. Just ignore him. He's stupid, idiotic... ugh! You're not weird!" She said with assurance.
Saber.
Saber watched as one of the twins left, and felt relieved when the other followed. Yes! Now I don't have to deal with that psycho girl!
"I didn't think I would offend anyone..." He was being honest, it's just... he said stuff like that sometimes. He didn't think anyone would over-react, or take it too seriously. He was just stating his opinion! That's all! He nodded to himself in his own personal agreement.
The boy stared at Ari, "absorbing" all the information. Big Three, yadayadayada... what's this girl going on about? Now she's talking about the weather? Ugh, this is so confusing. Blablabla... hmm. I'm hungry. I wonder when they serve food around this place. I wonder what they'll have. I bet'll be great! Maybe they'll have a hamburger, or some ramen... mmm.... ramen...
He was lost in his thoughts until he noticed she stopped. The clueless demigod continued to stare at her for a moment, then nodded as if he understood everything she just said. "Yup. Gods and weather. All that fun stuff. So when does the real action start?! I heard you guys go on adventures sometimes. I wanna' go on one! I'll beat all those monsters! Every one of them! You'll see me, the great Saber- POW! They'll be nothing but dust once I'm done with 'em! I'll be the greatest fighter anyone's ever seen!" Already the boy could see the parade, all about him. People we're cheering- cheering for him, congratulating and praising him. The ladies we're all over him. It was perfect.

Mary-Kate looked up with a half-smile as her sister approached. "Yeah, I'm perfectly fine. Thanks." She hugged her sister and looked back where Ari and Saber were. The daughter of Athena couldn't help but roll her gray eyes. "He thinks he's so great. Gods! Why do I have to get so tongue tied around boys?!", she grumbled.
Putting on a fake arrogant grin, Mary-Kate mocked the egotistical boy. "Look at me! I'm Mr.Cool! I can take every one of you with one hand tied behind my back!". Mary-Kate couldn't help but cross her arms and let out an indignant "As IF!". As a side note, she added "Does he not get that we've been at this stuff for YEARS?! He comes in here, makes me TONGUE TIED! Calls me PRETTY! And expects me to LIKE him?! Ya know what? I'll bet he can't even tell us apart." A mischievous twinkled in the blonde's gray eyes. "Which means, he doesn't know if it was you or me that held a sword to his throat. Maybe we could use that to our advantage someday. Who knows?"

Watching Riley walk towards her twin, who had just finished severing the head of an innocent dummy, Ari couldn't help but feel jealous of the bond that the two of them had. Even though Ari herself had had many siblings around her in the first ten years of her life (step-siblings to be exact), none of them were close enough in age to hold any relevance to her now, and certainly didn't have anything near what Riley and Mary-Kate had in bonds to each other. Then again, it was hard for non-DemiGods to have a strong relationship with DemiGods in general. And especially since Mary-Kate and Riley shared a parents, who happened to be the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom, no wonder why they shared such a strong bond. The rational part of Ari's mind told her all of this, but despite how much talking it did, her heart always knew that it would be standing on the outside of the 'in' group, looking in, wondering what had happened, and always stuck in a bad situation.
Case in point - Riley and Mary-Kate had both distanced themselves from Saber, and with good reason, leaving Ari to talk to him on her own. "Then you should think about what you say a little more deeply." The teenager snapped, frustration mounting with the arrogant boy in front of her. Especially since Mary-Kate and Riley had decided clearly that he was not worth their time - why should Ari stick around? But all the same, she carried on trying to drill some amount of knowledge into his head, but it became clear as soon as she shut her mouth that he was a lost cause. Letting out a sigh, she made a mental note to thank Riley and Mary-Kate later on - she hadn't realized how easy it was talking to DemiGods who actually had a clue!
Biting back another sharp remark to the boy, Ari rolled her clouding grey eyes as her annoyance grew. She half meant to say something, but quickly decided that if he tuned her out, she'd treat him to some of the same medicine. Lifting a slender hand to pat the eagle on his head, she listened to what Saber was saying (since any DemiGod knew that it was smarter to take advantage of every detail she got, instead of dismissing it as useless garble), but acted as if she hadn't heard a word. After the punk had finished his tirade, Ari's hand fell to her short sword, admiring it in the growing sunlight as she waited for Saber to realize that his audience had tuned out a long time ago. "Hey Evangelos, would you mind figuring out for us when dinner is? It's kind of boring here with nothing to do." With a twinkle of mischief in his intelligent yellow eye, Evangelos took wing, swooping up above Ari's head before initiating a nosedive towards Saber, braking just as his knuckles raked the black mop he called hair. Peeling out of his dive, the bird stretched his wings from tree to tree, it seemed, before angling towards the dining hall, graceful as always.

Riley.
The girl laughed as her sister mocked Saber. "Ya know, he probably can't tell us apart. He did just meet us..." She let out one of her wicked giggles, obviously meaning she was up to no good. "Oh man, this could be SO fun... just think... all the pranks that could be played... and he'll never know who's truly who. Ever. Already, I can see he really isn't bright either. I mean, even the average dem-gods have a general idea of who's who. But him? Hahahaha... he is SO dead." Riley had an amused grin, as she inwardly planned the numerous pranks that could be played on this idiot. Pwned, man. This guy is going to get PWNED.
Saber.
Saber flinched slightly as Ari snapped at him, and he rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah! Whatever!" He said enthusiastically with a hint of sarcastic, as to not seem intimidated. "I think you all just take things WAY too seriously! That's all! Lighten up a little!" A friendly grin was plastered on his face, trying to show that he really wasn't trying to be mean.
He hadn't even noticed she had stopped paying attention, and brightened at the word "dinner." "YEAH! GO FIND OUT WHEN DINNER IS!" He cheered, his stomach growling in response. Saber then jumped as his hair was touched, and watch the bird soar off.
"So..." He said a bit awkwardly, then smiled as an idea came to him. "There any really cute single girls at this camp? Because I am looking for a girlfriend!" The young demi-god looked pretty optimistic, despite having absolutely no luck in the past. No one wanted a gross, disgusting kid off the street, but now he was clean, and he smelled nice. The girls would HAVE to be all over him NOW!

Mary-Kate chuckled as her sister gave an evil grin. "You know I can't condone this", she said, a grin plastered on her face. Mary-Kate went over and gave Ari a huge hug and a grin. "I hope Evangelos never learns to like him!", she said honestly, "And I'm not really that hungry, but are you ready for a sparring match over dinner?". Mary-Kate shifted her silver eyes between Ari and Riley, then finally focused them on Ari again. "If you two team together, you MIGHT be able to beat me!", she taunted playfully. Mary-Kate shifted her wait from foot to foot in anticipation and waited for her sister to speak.

While Mary-Kate and Riley were chatting amongst themselves, Ari was having a rough time of it with Saber. Especially now that Evangelos had left her alone with the arrogant jerk in front of her, the young DemiGod had no distraction from the endless stupidity that seemed to stream from his mouth. Even though, in hindsight, Ari probably shouldn't have snapped at him so quickly (and meanly), he shouldn't have opened his mouth in the first place! Well... maybe that was a little harsh. He could open his mouth, but he really should've taken more care with what he said - especially around the almighty Greek Gods! And Ari was tired of trying to prevent him from being smited on the spot - besides, it would likely be her father doing the smiting!
Luckily, at that moment, Saber was saved from a vicious tongue lashing from Ari on how one cannot expect to just 'look for a girlfriend' and have one turn up on your doorstep, especially if you're a pompous jerk like he's acting, before she felt Mary-Kate's arms around her frame. Letting go of her anger, Ari returned the hug from the twin with an added squeeze. "Knowing him, he probably won't - he makes judgements about people that usually last. And it happens to be funnier that way!" A complete change from the snappish fae that Saber had seen, Ari returned to her lighter, happier self that she usually was around the twins.
A laugh breaking forth from her chest, Ari grinned from ear to ear in response to the challenge. "Not that I doubt your skills, Kate-kat, but it's hardly a fair fight! Why don't we change it up, make it a free for all?" Waggling her eyebrows challengingly, Ari was always up for a good sword fight, but was loathe to think that a two-against-one against Mary-Kate would be anything along the lines of fair. "And powers or no powers? That's always important." As much as one could limit powers, the sparring ring participants were encouraged to do so, since some could have electrifying effects. But it was up to the fighters, as always, to make it a fair fight as best they could.

Saber.
"CAT-FIGHT! WOOT! He cheered. "But you didn't answer my question- who are the cuties around here? Besides the three of you, of course." Saber winked at the girls. "Cuz I mean... I'd TOTALLY go out with any one of you... if ya want." The curly-haired boy went nearer to the three. "And can I fight? Pleeeeasse?! And what do you mean by "powers"? Do you mean like that wind thingy that uhhhh..." He tried to remember her name.

Mary-Kate help but blush a little. Then she managed to stutter "I-It's not a Cat Fight! It's training!'. You can take that! I-I mean, you're not trained enough to fight with us!". With that, the golden bracelet on her left hand turned into a dagger. With not so much as a glint of sunlight on the blade, the hilt of the dagger was jabbed into a pressure point in the boys back. Then she stood by Ari and watched the results of her work with a calm look in her gray eyes.

Raising only a skeptical eyebrow at Saber, Ari paid the boy no more mind as she pulled up her sweatpants, removed the gladiator sandals from her feet, and lightly blew them to the side of the ring. She hated fighting with shoes on, but could do it well. The only thing was that the sandals interfered with her conducting lightning, but not if she transferred it through her chest and arms, which was what she chose to do in real life scenarios. Speaking of which, she probably should have kept the shoes on, since a battle hardly allots time to remove footwear, but this was a training battle only - she'd focus on her swordsmanship only.
Just as she was about to remove the short sword from it's sheath, a cry from above signaled Evangelos' return. Extending her left arm to allow him to perch on it, a quick tilt of his head asked the obvious question of the girl. What, Duchess, are you starting a fight without me? "Yeah yeah - I have to work on my own observations; But what did you find out?" Hmph. Well, it's grilled cheese again with an option of hot dogs if you don't want those. I've also seen some of the staff setting something up around here - maybe a game after dinner? "Sweet, Vangey - thanks a ton. We'll find out eventually." Ruffling his head fingers quickly with her fingers, Evangelos lighted off of her arm to settle on a tree branch above.
"Okay guys - let's set up some ground rules before we..." Cut off by Saber and Mary-Kate's bickering, Ari's eyes flashed briefly before the retaliation came, in the form of a swift jab to the pressure point. Watching the boy's reaction, where Ari perhaps should have intervened, she stood beside her sister, unsuccessfully suppressing a grin. "Now I know what to block." She said, winking towards her close friend.

Saber.
A shock went through his body, paralyzing him- literally. He didn't have time to think before he hit the ground. W-WOAH! WHAT'S GOING ON?! WHY CAN'T I MOVE?! WHAT DID SHE DO TO ME?! MUST... MOVE...! Saber tried everything, but his body didn't seem to be getting the message. MOVE, YA STUPID BODY! Still, he couldn't move as much as he tried.
Riley.
Riley watched as her sister paralyzed this newcomer. She burst out laughing as she watched the boy hit the ground. "FAIL!" She shouted. "This is karma, man. Karma!" Her eyes shimmered with delight. The demigod was a little tempted to kick him, or do something to add to her entertainment. You're not a bad person. You don't hurt people. Self-control, woman. Nonetheless, her mind wandered, imagining countless things she could do to the boy in his state...
Saber.
Saber heard the remarks of Riley, and anger blazed within him. Are you kidding me? Karma? What did I ever do to deserve this?! All my life people have treat me like I'm nothing but trash, put me down and beat me up, and you're saying this is karma?! Well, I'll show you! He was so mad he could just pound her right now! If he could move...

Mary-Kate stared down at the paralyzed boy with a somewhat sympathetic expression. "Daughter of Athena. Kinda what I do..". She regarded Ari with a slight smirk and a twinkle in her gray eyes. "Sure. You be watching out for that.". She gave her a playful nudge with her shoulder. Then she looked down at Saber once again. She could see the shame and anger swirling around in his amber eyes. She gave a frown. "Calm down. It should wear off any second now. I just simply wanted to show you why you can't fight with us. That's all...". She cocked her head, sending her blonde curls tumbling slightly into the wind. She felt a little guilty for publicly embarassing the boy, but she told herself that it needed to be done. He was going to get himself hurt if one of them didn't stop it. It might has well've been Mary-Kate.

Rolling her shoulders back to loosen up her stiffening muscles, it was easy to see the look of panic and anger in Saber's eyes, and the girl almost felt a bit of pity for him. Almost. But her eyes clouded slightly at Riley's next remarks, knowing that adding insult to injury was only adding salt to the wounds. But... he did deserve it. A bit, anyways. At least the paralysis was only temporary, and relatively painless. It was much better than being struck by one of her own lightning bolts, anyways. Or being smited by one of the quicker Gods to anger.
Stumbling a bit from the nudge from Mary-Kate, Ari quickly regained her balance before pulling the girl into a side hug. Sticking her tongue out a bit, there wasn't anything else she needed to say, other than that she was ready to take on the two twins. "That's one of many reasons. Take the paralysis as a blessing - we all can do much worse." Grinning mischievously at Riley, she winked jovially before stepping forward towards the centre of the ring. When it came to stepping over Saber, she gathered up two billows of wind to propel her over the boy before landing gracefully in the centre.
"Okay, my friends - ground rules. Number one - let's try not to spill too much blood, alright? Two - it's a free for all, but let's try not to let that turn into people ganging up on each other. And three - how much of our powers should we be able to use? I'm not going to zap over a normal static shock, but should I cut that out completely? How about wind? And you two?"

Riley.
"Oh yes." She said in all her seriousness. Then, she had a big grin. "Aw, but I LOVE spilling blood! It's like my favorite thing to do! And I ESPECIALLY love ganging up on people! You're no fun Ari, you know that? I want my full powers, man!" Riley whipped out her MetroCard, and it was a sword in less than a second. She slashed at the air, killing invisible enemies. "DIE, MR. INVISIBLE MAN, DIE!" However, she forced herself to calm down quickly, and went back to watching Saber.
Saber.
He kept "moving"- sending the signal to every part of his body. LIAR! YOU TRICKED ME! Slowly though, however, he was regaining feeling in his limbs, and was starting to be able to move. He pushed himself up really fast, and went blind and dizzy. WOAH! I CAN FINALLY MOVE AND NOW THIS GIRL BLINDS ME?! But he regained his vision within a matter of seconds, and realized that he he had merely gotten up too swiftly. Saber look coldly at Mary-Kate, but then smiled when she seemed to look a bit guilty. "Looks like I'm already fallin' for ya'!" He winked at her, giggling.
Riley.
Riley face-palmed.

Mary-Kate smiled and laughed at her sister as her bracelet into her celestial bronze dagger. Only a few people were skilled enough to use a dagger. It didn't have quite the range of a sword, but it was easily concealed. Plus, Mary-Kate had been training with it since she came to Camp Half-Blood. The dagger felt almost like an extension of her arm as she clenched her hand around it's hilt. She looked up with a spark of excitement in her silver eyes. As she looked up, she was confused by Saber's prescence. What he said shocked her even more. "W-What do you mean by THAT?!", she said angerly but with an uncertain undertone.

Watching the various weapons flick out only raised Ari's fighting instincts and made her more aware of her surroundings. Heart beginning to pound in her chest, her grey eyes latched onto each blade as she drew out her own short sword, not needing to look to find the silver hilt on her hip. She knew, simply from years of working with it, that the blade was celestial bronze, with a few dings and dents in it from previous battles, with it's silver hilt with the gold inlay in a criss-cross pattern. At the very tip of the hilt lay a small diamond, glinting in the sunlight as she turned it over in her hand. A short sword was only a bit longer than a dagger, but she still had to learn both long-range and close-range fighting with it - that was the main advantage of the short sword. Although one could see it as a blessing and a curse.
Letting out a sharp bark of a laugh, Ari bent her knees slightly, hopping from foot to ball of the other foot to warm up, dancing over the dust without moving more than three feet from her original place. Hearing what Saber said next, she stopped amid preparations for her next hop with an incredulous look on her face, mixed with a bit of anger and incredulity. "I bet you'll be claimed by Dionysus - wine goes really well with all that cheeseyness you're spewing out." She snapped, only half-joking.
